It has come to my attention that someone who will remain nameless has gone into my comment history and summarily marked my most recent 5 pages or so as "spam." This is a violation of my rights as a loyal videosift contributor, as I have over 50 sifted videos. This is downright unacceptable and hateful.
I think the authorities should look into this, since we all know choggie was banned for similar actions. I frequently downvote comments based on political differences, but do so based on the comment itself.
My comments have been on my own sift talk posts, on peoples profiles and other places this person had no business disgracing my comments.

Just comment in your own post... so I can mark it as spam. Just to get it out of the way.
We need a button next to comments that let us flag as Infamous. Something that we can push when we just don't like the person commenting. This would ease the pain... and make CP420s ego bigger I Imagine too.
Generally speaking if a comment has negative 10 votes.. Ill flag it as spam.
Believe me, I find it extremely painful to defend CP420, but we've got clear abuses of power by at least 3 members here: mainly nibiyabi and UsesProzac with a side of thinker247. Nordlich may be available for dessert but I don't see the spam flag with his name on it.

Agree that flagging the comments as spam is not appropriate for this situation. Please don't. I can't help but feel CP420 that you are fanning the fires of this dispute through trollery. There are no rights being violated here.
I expect anyone who abuses the spam feature in the future will be held to at least a temp ban, as has been forced on others. Spam is self linkers and people who try to sell things, etc. I have no problem with downvotes, we're all entitled to our opinions.

Oh, I certainly think that messing with tags is wrong and is against everything that I believe to be in The Spirit of the Sift, but in your case I'm making a special exception because I want you to feel what it's like when someone purposefully manipulates the system for their own amusement, purposefully or negligently causing discomfort to others. You can pretend that your actions are earnest and forthright, but everybody knows they're not. So stop being "cute".
